Hey, this video was actually extremely useful. I've been wearing glasses since I can't remember and buying a new pair has always been a really unpleasant ritual. However, you forgot to mention that a wrong temple length can be fixed by heating it and reshaping it (depending on the material). I've had it done a couple of times. I have unlimited free customer service where I have been buying them since my parents bought my first ones for the first time.

As much as there's often a premium for doing so, I'd say you're still better off shopping for them in person. The picture trick is an alright idea, but in person hopefully(if you got your vision checked as well) they can tell you what frame shape is best for you too...at least as far as prescription lenses go. When you throw a prescription lens in the mix, you now have to be worried about if frame x will distort your vision by curving too much, or being to tall, etc..

Funny thing the glasses on the left photo with the red cross look way better on him than the ones on the right with the green checkmark. The left one might be to big and the right one might be perfectly sized, yet the bigger one does look better on him.
