it all depends on how the person themselves feels about the appearance of the glasses. Face/jaw shape has a lot to do with it for many. if someone liked a certain style on me, id look in the mirror while (looking for frames after getting a new prescription) wearing them, but I would strongly disagree. I really dislike how nowadays there are mostly only huge glasses. I think I only look good with the ones without the frames that go all around the lenses, just on top and with as narrow lenses as possible, but those are so damn hard to find nowadays. Benedek Verburg Maybe because you were nearsighted as a child (the muscles around your eye were too tight) creating good vision up close but bad for far away. As people get older their muslces relax and in your case the muslces relaxed and the strength of your glasses decreased. For far sighted people...well we're shit out of luck and the muslces only get worse. But to be clear this isn't that your eye got better.

LASIK was the best decision I've ever made. I am deathly afraid of surgery, however I maned up and did it and it felt like it was over in 2 minutes. Easy, pain free and liberating.

@Matthew Delgado Probably the worse decision you have made, you're eyes will get dryer in the long term and your vision will change again. Waste of thousands of dollars.
