So, the glow forge doesn't cut 1/2" thick rounds right? Where do you get your 1/2" rounds? Do you cut them yourself? You probably have a. video on that but I can not find it .Considering a glowforge but trying to see what it all does. Thank you in advance.

For pricing, I would check out Facebook marketplace to see if anybody is doing anything similar to get a good price range for your area. I know for some of my products I could get more if I wasn't in a lower cost of living state, so your farmer market price might be cheaper than if you sell on Etsy price. I usually do 3x cost plus an hourly rate you feel comfortable with and then adjust based on the market.

This is great. I like the first and second one the best. But the Hello is my favorite one. I like the bow for hey yall though. I always struggle with bows. So I really liked that you showed how easy it really is. Super curious how much you decided to sell them for.

How does the weight compare? Is the thinner one sturdy enough or will it be flapping around on the door a lot? Is the thicker one perhaps too heavy and need extra support or a special/certain wreath hanger?

Good questions! We've used the rounds from the home improvement stores but they were too heavy and beatt up the door a lot! These are definitely lighter but enough weight that I don't think they'll blow around.

Hi Linda! If you are cutting 3/4" the X Carve would probably be best, we have cut 1 1/2" with the Xcarve. The thickest we have been able to cut on the Glowforge is about 3/8". What are you planning on making?

You have to add up all your hours and bits used. Then what you would like to make an hour and they say times this buy 3/4 and add it all together. Love you videos. I’m looking at getting a glowfordge. I cut on a scroll saw at mo, with a Cricut as well. Hope your all staying safe. Patrick

I’ve had a terrible time with glueing pieces (wood, bows, etc) on my painted wood rounds because the sun hit my front door in early eve and melts every glue I’ve tried..even used resin!! Any suggestions on other ways to attach besides glue?? 😣

In Canada you would probably get anywhere from $35-$50 for them. I would go simple because for the amount of work for the more complicated one you probably won’t be able to make the same markup to make it worth the extra time involved.
