Jealous. Might drag myself out for some early morning Gower. I will wait until it's quieter before coming back up to your neck of the woods. Missing North Wales!

Great video, thanks. Was supposed to be climbing at Symonds Yat on Saturday just gone but the rain stopped that... Hoping to get some North Wales climbing in very soon, our club hut is at the foot of the Watkin path.

Blimey! What a morning!! I've just caught up with this. I think I did some of ordinary route with Matt as his mock client. Ended up off piste somewhere and I had a 'Touching the Void moment!' Great video Jez! Nice to switch it up & just watch some climbing/scrambling in a stunning environment.

Great footage Jez. Ideal slabs looks really alien from that angle. Might have to get out for an early morning adventure soon

Early morning adventures are ace, but massively rare for me!!!

Thanks for doing stuff like this. The drone footage with the wall filling the screen was pretty stunning as you climbed up. With all the responsibilities of family life, in don’t get out to that part of the country enough, but to see stuff like this, gets me excited, gives me insight and context and helps plan my next adventures. I don’t want to be an annoying tourist either so some helpful tips for visitors would be cool, so I can just relax and not worry about pissing the pros or locals off ;-)

Nice one Jez, what a morning! Had my eye on those La Sportiva boots for a while, they OK for ML type stuff? Cheers, Nick

Nicholas Edwards I’ve used them for one ML type day, I think they’ll be pretty good to be fair. Nice and light, gtx as well.

Nice footage mate. Do you get out in the scottish winter much? If so, it would be cool to see you on a bit of that when the season's on

Cheers! I used to but these days I tend to spend my winters in sunny Spain!

@@JBMountainSkills Soft!! haha fair enough mate. Great work with the channel mate keep it rolling. A local climbing facebook group I'm in currently has lots of discussions on technical matters based off of questions from people just starting out. I just keep commenting with your vid links because you're clear, thorough and take the approach that values a variety of perspectives and skillsets (which is rare to find on the internet). I almost wish there was an audit of climbing instructional content online guiding because I didn't realise until recently how many people rely solely on youtube instruction to start climbing..! Anyway we need more like you mate. Good stuff
