3 Row LED bed light install (EASY DIY PROJECT)

Favorite feature from the 2019+ chevrolet & GMC trucks has to be the built in bed lights so in this video we install 3 row LED light strips in the bed of my truck! Turned out great and I have already used it multiply times!

You can get a fuse tap and tap into the cargo light fuse and they will turn on with the factory cargo light button, that’s what I did with my 2015 Silverado.

Those look great! My 2018 LTZ has the factory bed light kit. It could use a little bit more light. I'm going to use some light strips like that for my gun safe.

I cut in to my tail lights to try and power my in bed lights. Don't do that went 2 days and a cop stop to find out my running lights where out hahaha awesome video man!

Could add a magnetic switch to the tailgate. Then lights go on and off when you open and close the tailgate, no need to push a button.

Watched this video when it got posted. I pulled the trigger on the 2 led strip kit the next day. The 3rd strip that goes at the front of the bed under the rear glass just wouldn't look good without a bed cover to hide it on a 01 dodge. Got the kit a couple days ago, but haven't had a chance to install until this morning. Finally got dark enough to test them, and holy crap they're actually as bright as shown in this video. That's a first for me lmao. Definitely don't need the 3rd strip if you don't think it'll look good.

I carry the Streamlight Protac hlx. Solid light, but highly recommend getting the rechargeable battery.

Yep. No point in doing these and having the wiring showing when you can grab the factory ones from your local dealer for like $70 and not have to do any wiring at all.
