I was up at 4 am last night “technically way earlier today”. My room is upstairs and I was laying down watching KZbin on my laptop and I heard something above my ceiling scrapping back and forth. At first I thought it was just a tree scraping against the roof because sometimes that happens when the wind blows hard, but I looked outside my window and the environment was calm, no wind and everything was still. So I paused the KZbin video and listened for at least 15 minutes and I just kept hearing scraping and quick and sudden movements of something running back and forth. I won’t lie I thought of the worse thing possible: some type of alien creature, a crazed homeless person climbing up there, jeepers creepers (because I had watched the movie earlier the same day). But thankfully I found out it was a couple of fairly large raccoons crawling up there for whatever reason. The moral of the story is this is the type of paranoia I developed over the years of watching Mr. Nightmare videos... 😓

That is not being spoiled. That is being lucky. What he meant is his dad did not spend his life buying him expensive cars, phones, computers, etc. Buying a house is an investment. See it as an inheritance if you will. My parents don't have a lot of money like his dad but they did help me buy as many things as they could when I purchased my house. It's probably his way of saying that he is proud of his son taking his own responsibilities. Having a house is a lot of work. So I don't see it as being spoiled.

When I was a kid I'd say about 6 or 7 I was staying a my Mom's house house for the weekend. Anyway, I was in my bed not yet asleep and the rocking chair just opposite my bed started rocking slowly. Now this was the first time I'd ever seen something paranormal and I don't believe that I was frightened, but I remember I vividly. The feeling I got from it was of a calm, peaceful Grandmotherly type, so I just fell asleep. The reason I saw anything was that I was scared of the dark so my mom had installed a bright nightlight yet the rocking chair didn't frighten me at all. True story.

I had a neighbor similar to the last story, except there was a reason he took a interest to me, ten years before i was even born his then seven year old son was tragically killed in a accident, when my family moved in before i was born the neighbor told my parents about it since the boy died on the street, after my birth i apparently looked just like my neighbors dead son, especially when i turned seven myself. He was never creepy or anything but he did dearly miss his son, he passed away last year and i hope him and his boy got to see each other again
