Short form content idea: please clarify for people definitions of terms related to psychological in pop culture today like narcissism, gaslighting, OCD, ADHD, anxiety… etc. I feel like people just toss these around without fully understanding what they mean or how to correctly apply them

My signs are definitely sleeplessness, feeling rushed even when I’m trying to relax, anxiety and agitation. When it gets really bad it turns in to panic attacks unfortunately. I’ve noticed that meditation really helps me, especially with the sleep part. Thank you so much for this video. It really came right on time for me. I’m currently in my Clinical Psychology Master’s and barely hanging on. I’ve always found your content super helpful. We even got watching one of your videos as a uni assignment a few months ago! You rule Steph. Love from the Netherlands

I absolutely love going out and being out the house, whether its meeting with friends, sitting at a cafe to do hw, or going to the park, it’s my way of recharging. I hate being home so much. A sign of bo for me is when I find myself dreading those moments of being out and I’m cooped up at home more. When I start noticing those moments, I reflect a lot

This is sooo timely. Your videos are always so helpful and practical. I just started my Counseling Masters program this Fall and I really had to re-evaluate my capacity at this stage of my life (I'm 31 and work full-time). I ended up taking a complete backseat on content creation and writing for public consumption when the semester started. I'd hoped to jump back on in January, but honestly I just need more time away from social media. I love sharing and engaging, but it definitely adds to my stress in different ways. School is going great and I love what I'm learning, but the lifestyle adjustment has been significant. I'm also starting a new job (after almost 7 years on my current job) and I know that transition will also be demanding, but so necessary for me. Managing my own mental health is incredibly important to me, especially as I transition into Counseling. My routine took a hit as I adjusted to being in school and working, but I'm looking forward to getting back on track in the coming weeks. I'm hoping to share about what navigating this has been like soon, but for now I'm living it lol. BTW, my professor has shared SEVERAL of your videos in our Ethics class. I was HYPE when I saw your face in the module. The content you produce is excellent and so valuable - thank you! I hope you enjoy the holidays!!

Thank you so much, this video truly came in divine timing, especially the tip when feeling more irritable with my partner🙏🏾🙏🏾 I feel so burnout and compassion fatigue in the crisis work I’m in, while in the middle of looking for a job in the field that i feel more in alignment with. The job interview process, while working this job has been soooo exhausting. But pouring into myself is sooo necessary. I miss reading and it truly does feel like a beautiful lift off to escape and give the mind some rest and ease. This video helped inspire me to go back😊📚💛✨ Also want to thank you Anya for the work you do. I’m also a content creator, and those tips are soooo helpful!! I’m glad you’ve been able to recognize when burning out, find different strategies to help provide content in a way that feels like a good fit for YOU❤ this video is truly inspiring on ways to adjust in harmonizing our personal, career, and relationships. 🙌🏾👏🏾

I get all the things you mentioned in this video and I do the things you suggested, so seeing this video was really affirming. I also stop enjoying the things I love to do and I have a hard time regulating my emotions. So not only am I irritable but I will find myself getting teary eyed over silly things. I think the biggest thing I have learned is planning rest time. I would get more overwhelmed trying to figure out how to stop being overwhelmed and in a bid to claw my way out I would push myself harder. Now I actively plan rest and breaks. And I tell myself it is ok to take those breaks.

I am currently working as a psychiatric clinician, grad school for mft/lpcc, and starting practicum. My biggest source to my burnout right now is my management. It's punitive to take time off. And now that I am trying to practice self care and take time off when I'm sick or exhausted, I can't. Insomnia and falling asleep too early, stomach/digestion issues;

Thank you for your insight! I’ve been feeling burn out for so long it’s a norm for me. I wonder what normalcy will feel like 🤔 I too like to do my own nails because that’s always been fun for me since I was a teen. I definitely have to be mindful of my sleep schedule because I’ll stay up all night & feel terrible the next day. So, I have a routine where I put my phone away at a certain time, have bedtime tea, do yoga or journal & listen to relaxing music.

The only one I had that made me feel 100% comfortable and like I could be truly myself I lost... that person made a choice out of fear and went away.
