I randomly got some off a guy on Gumtree when I bought Sterba's corys off him. The Sterbas are lovely but the aspis steal the show. Excitingly I just found a clutch of eggs, very happy if they're either but I'm hoping they're aspis

I got a dozen or so Aspidorus spilotus a few months ago from my fish club auction and I agree with everything you said! So fun! They run around the tank like puppies playing like mad. No fry yet but I hope so soon. They’re a delight to watch!

Much appreciated Blake. As a home breeder/collector of various Corydoras I had overlooked the Aspidoras given that they looked so much like an elongated pepper cory, like you mentioned. I have not noticed them in my part of Brisbane nor over the net from places purchased from. I will look out for some and give them a go out of curiosity. Your no nonsense attitude and information I have found both informative and interesting. Thanks mate.

Cool looking fish i had a look on all fish 2u and there wasn't any there, you must have cleaned him out 🤣 are they expensive, im keen to setup a rack for some breeding projects. Seeing as these seem semi rare well from my perspective they could be a good candidate.
