Personally I think it’s important to understand ones personality. Susan cain had a really good book called “ quiet power” and if you understand what type of human your partner is it’ll be so much easier to respect the boundaries due to the fact that that’s the way they are.

Those are amazing three tips! Thanks. I have a question about defining the core believe and the base assumption. What would be the best time to talk about that? Because you don't want to wait until you argue about something and then try to fix it right? But in the sometime Its kind of awkward to talk about base assumption if its out of context and I'm not sure what would be the right time/context to talk about that. Thank you!

Hello L&T, I have to say I’m definitely with Lisa when it comes to the word “dumb.” When I think about how I formulated my concept of its meaning “Dumbo the Elephant” was so named because the “mean elephants” thought he looked “dumb” with big ears. 🐘 I also remember really feeling uncomfortable inside when he a deaf person was referred to as being “Deaf and Dumb” - I remember think; “Just because they can’t hear that doesn’t make them stupid.” - I’m not deaf myself - I’m just someone who wants everyone to have the same Respect, Happiness and Bliss that I want for myself. Thankfully I feel that major advances in hearing technology are eradicating this expression. 🙏🏾 Interestingly I have learnt to define my definition of “Silly” - to me it’s the opposite of “Sensible” and totally harmless. - It even puts a bit of fun in your life when you’re silly on purpose to be funny! 😆 Great Video “Team Bilyeu”. 👍🏽😃🌈🌟

What do you two think about Bruce Muzik's work and his emphasis that connection with you partner is far more important than communication tools? I'm skimming the surface of his work but he does stress that partners are naturally kind to one another in the beginning and communication flows easily; but when they hit the "Power Struggle" phase of a relationship, that's when things start to go pear shaped.
