As a gold II/III player, those tips make a lot of sense, thanks! I'm getting better at hitting the ball hard and have always (kinda) been a "patient" player, but my dribbling is mediocre at best (it is non existent really). I didn't know that switching the camera and focusing in the circle was the basic trick to improve there, I'm gonna try that in the following weeks. Platinum, here I come!

I watched this recently as I am getting back into rocket league after a multiple year break, and this video in particular explains tip one and tip two in such a good way A lot of dribbling tutorials I watched a long time ago never focused so much on explaining to follow the reticle under the ball, and once I got that from this video and put it into practice, I learned how to dribble in one free play session. After watching this video and countless advice from coach's and the rl community to get out of gold do this: shooting on net, shadow defense and rotations/ play more 2nd man, dribbling and flicks, be consistent

The blood sweat and tears of getting to plat 1 killed me, literally every time I was 1 win away from plat I lost, I played for 3 hours straight back one forth, and finally from grinding the game from 1:00 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. I finally got out of gold 3 into plat 1… : correction 3 hours and 45 minutes. This video was so informative and helpful. But also, for fellow golds, dont aerial for everything, dont focus too much on learning how to air dribble, I'd recommend learning how to half flip, and play all the play lists. The main thing i see is, my friends dont play 3's and only do 2's and 1's, so their rotations and positioning is dog shit. Learning rotations and positioning is not that difficult but it's hard to master.
