A lot of people seem to have a bad habit of switching out of ball-cam to get boost. For some reason I actually prefer ball cam for everything, to the point where I never think to switch out of it to dribble. Upside is that I'm a god at getting boost without looking. I've even memorized the positions of all of the pads even when driving towards the camera.
