Johnny Gioeli, lead singer of Crush 40, is the undisputed master of cheesy rock lyrics. Everything he's ever sang makes you feel a "hell yeah brother" deep in your soul.
@FSAPOJake4 ай бұрын
@@megamandrn001 Yep, even in his own music projects. Though the lyrics he wrote for "Colorblind" after the LA riots in the 90s were beautiful. He's good at that but he definitely loves his "hell yeah brother" lyrics. One of my favorite vocalists, ever.
@derpkipper4 ай бұрын
I think a lot of that has to do with his singing. His singing is so full of soul! Man sings from his gut. When you sing it, it comes from the gut (diaphragm). It feels amazing.

@@angac.6974 Johnny finally made a full version of the song a few years ago, and it's definitely nice... But that little unfinished demo Hardline recorded in the 90s is beautiful. Johnny at his prime in terms of vocals, and Neal Schon on guitar.

he literally screamed the name of the game sonic heroes in the song sonic heroes.. still the boys went SOONNICCCCCCC HEROESSSSSS.. he sang goddamn confusing lyrics of open your heart ( thought that song showed sonic vs chaos), and people went screaming.. he gave probably his best vocals in live and learn... ( though I gotta say the riff of live and learn is not the hottest.. ok its SSSS++ but I feel his other sonic songs did better) in what I'm made of.. he screamed.. and somehow it became music (jk that song is so good) I am all of me is edge.. literally knight of the wind- it was soooo good ( in the final part the strings guitars vocals bass come together and felt soo good) his world- edge but cool.. (and the chord progressions are the best in this one too)

This stream was great! Audio mixing was good, the whiteboard worked, your electric guitar worked and you were able to get some great jams in, and this is the best section of the entire OST. Sad I didn't get to make it live today, but I enjoyed the heck out of the VOD!

Rouge’s themes have that jazzy feeling but they also have bossa nova and merengue/salsa elements mixed in. That’s because sonic team based rouge’s character on latinamerican culture and pop icons such as jennifer lopez.

1:47:34 the lyrics are quite abstract. Not at all what I would expect from a song written purely for english speaking listeners. The lyrics being as abstract as they are, almost remind me of japanese lyrics when theyre translated into english. In-context of the game's story though, they do make a lot of sense! :D That could also be a stylistic lyrical choice of Johnny's though. A lot of Sonic crush 40 songs vibe like that!
