Spies has an easier way to do these colors now.. not sure if u have used this product but it’s 9100, it makes mid coat more like a base and not inside clear coat. Way easier

I remember the first time I came across one of these tri coats, definitely threw me off. I think Subaru has a blue that's looks really wack until you get your top coat on it.

Great video. Newbie here. I'm a little confused. In one of you other videos you say 20 psi for base and 30 psi for clear. Can you clarify.

Do u put the base coat on with the same pressure as the pearl

I spray the base at my regular psi which is 2 bars on the pressure gauge. And since the tinted red red clear coat is clear I spray my clear coat at 3 bars on the pressure gauge.
