Chris your channel is by far the best instructional channel I have found anywhere on KZbin. I have created an immense playlist of all of your training videos. You break down the swing so wonderfully with your drills I was already a mid '80s and already my swing is improved and I will definitely be using this and others to improve the contact and compression I just wanted to say thank you so much for your channel

Chris, I have been going through your channel and I must say, you have a tremendous amount of knowledge of the swing and your articulation is second to none! I've been going through my reps for most of your instruction - it resonates with me. My daughter in-law is taking up the game this year. She's hit some balls at the range and has played only 1 short reg course but is ready to take golf in over the summer with us. Would you recommend this 3 step guide video for a complete beginner or something else for her to study as a complete newbie? I feel I can do a decent job on the grip/alignment/posture part of it. Thanks - GP

Thank you GP! I very much appreciate the kind words. This is a good drill to get her going with for sure. Definitely make sure she has a good setup and can move to a good impact position with her body with ease. Then you can work this drill and as she starts getting proficient, I would really try and crank up a good load process for the backswing. Little pressure shift and good body turn, making sure the arms aren’t working out of order. This should help her with the downswing sequence. Hope that helps and if you need further assistance let me know. We can do virtual lessons directly on the website so we can customize her plan and yours as well.

@@MyGolfDNA Chris, thank you for replying! Yes, agree with the little pressure shift and having a good body turn. She's fairly athletic as she used to figure skate competitively and she gets body mechanics and ground forces, to a point. The turn in skating is tight a demands good body turns. Keep up the amazing content....

My pleasure! Having an athletic background will certainly help the process. Good luck and thank you again for the kind words.

@mygolfdna been following these drills for past 2 months. when i shift over so that my lead shoulder, hip, knee, ankle are stacked, i have a tendency for my trail shoulder to have a lot of side bend and introduce a lot of loft to the club at impact. if i try to keep both my shoulders even then my club swings outside. not sure why this is happening

Sounds like your shoulders are unwinding too quickly from the top. You should try to keep the core wound (trail shoulder up behind the head) as much as possible while making your move to the lead side. See if that helps get you in a better spot...otherwise, here is a video that can help you with that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaevl2iwdtNoeKs
