3-Step Gypsy Jazz Simple Soloing System
‘Joseph Joseph’ & ‘Bossa Dorado’
A foolproof simple soloing system that makes it easy for beginners to improvise freely over chord progressions fast.
This new class will simplify the way you approach improvisation and improve your solos dramatically.
By using simple shapes we can map out the fretboard so we can visually see where we put our fingers for each chord. This gives us the confidence to play musical solos over any chord sequence.
If you’ve ever looked at a chord sequence and been confused about what arpeggios, licks or scales you’re meant to play then this method will help.
It will give you the ability to know exactly what notes to play over what chords and where on the fretboard to play them.
Also, if you find it hard to keep up with a chord progression when improvising then this easy system will help.
In this special masterclass I will completely de-mystify the art of improvisation for you and outline the exact steps you need to take to play hot gypsy jazz solos.
You’ll learn my simple 3-Step System that has been working for many of my students and is perfect for beginners to gypsy jazz guitar.
You’ll also get two big Gypsy Jazz jam tunes comfortably into your repertoire
‘Joseph Joseph’
‘Bossa Dorado’
Imagine being able to solo over any chord sequence without getting stuck on what to play?
Without getting lost so you always know where you are in the sequence?
Playing the changes perfectly and creating cool gypsy jazz solos?
Well I’m here to tell you this is absolutely achievable even if you’re a beginner!
The key is to simplify.
To help you do that I’ve distilled all my knowledge of gypsy jazz improvising into a simple 3-Step System
You can apply this system to your playing right away and improve quickly.
During this live workshop I will show you exactly how to apply this system to the popular gypsy jazz tunes ‘Joseph Joseph’ and ‘Bossa Dorado’
You’ll see how easily this simple system is applied to these three tunes which will give you so much confidence to create your own cool solos.
Then you’ll be able to apply the same system to any tune you know.
Here are the 3 Simple Steps:
Step 1 - Identify Chord Type
Step 2 - Locate Shapes For Each Chord
Step 3 - Apply Using Backing Track
This workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate guitarists who want a simple and effective way to improvise freely over chords.
It brings it back to the real basics as sometimes we get too fancy.
You will learn in depth how to apply this system to three of the biggest jam tunes in Gypsy Jazz and you will then be able to apply it to any tune you know.
This live session will be accompanied by a series of detailed, step-by-step videos guiding you through each step of the system which you will be able to practice at your own pace.
All the lessons are found in the comprehensive PDF Workbook in both TAB and Standard Notation so you won’t miss a thing.
This is a proven system that works and will work for you too!

Hahaha haha. There are so many ways to waste time in the study of music. This is a valuable concept and something I teach my students as well. In Gypsy Jazz, all the modes and exotic scales in a varity of postions won't hurt you, and I know them, bit I practice the vocabulary of the musical language I want to play. Other accomplished GJ playeres , like Christian Van Hemert and Dennis Chang will tell you the same thing. Charlie Parker practiced patterns.

Haven't got the cash to join right now. I will never be any good at that style. But I'm saving cash for it now and will try soon. I'm a 74 year old Ragtime Blues finger picker who has adapted that style to play old jazz and pop songs. I'm gonna try but later. I have been in touch before and do admire you for teaching. I have some rhythm technique I learnt from you and sing along with. It's great fun.

@@karelperriens4418 Hi! Playing guitar is a journey that never ends. There are so many styles and methods to make music and each requires work and can be exciting and fulfilling. It can be extremely frustrating at times. It's like golf.18 handicaps say they would be more than happy to play like a 7 handicap but 7 handicaps are trying to get to scratch. I'd be more than happy to play like Robin (who is far better than an average Gypsy player) but I guarantee you he is still working on things to improve. The fun of it is it never stops and there's always something to learn.
