I always wondered how it was done and, actually, it's a little bit counter-intuitive to me. I've been cutting my own hair since 1991, after I went to see family in Guyana and a friend of the family used just scissors and a comb to give me a decent haircut. I thought, if he can do it with that, then surely I can do so with clippers. After a few not so great attempts I started getting better. I haven't got an exact system going and sometimes the results are a bit hit and miss. For the bald part, I usually come up from the base of the neck, and the sideburns and judge the line by eye; then come down onto the line from above, changing lever and clipper attachments as I go. The method shown here is completely new to me. This tutorial is exactly what I need to have a system that I can stick to. Thank you.

That is crazy, you just gave the guy 10 more years to his life, he looks so much younger. Nice cut!

i think the hair line is better without the fibers, straight line is not natural and looks fake, i dont understand that trend. just do the fade and the beard lines and that would look natural and with stile. no need to over do it

First of all let me tell you that I think your work is just top of the line in regards to the overall craft/art. That said, I've cut my own hair for years and now I'm comfortable enough to try and give myself a similar very close fade like the one featured here. What I'd like to know from a pro like yourself is, do you think this fade is close to what the Boxer, Prince Naseem Hamed had back years ago in his younger days?

So clear and thanks for this tutorial, i just have a question, Why don't you use same blue clipper for blending the 2nd line instead of using Saber one?! is it just for the quite motor to hear the hair crunch? Thank you in advance!

@Ben-lm4dq Жыл бұрын
thats what i thought. the fibres ruined it for me completely. his corners with the buzzcut look is looking super masculine. at 0:44 he could have just faded it a bit at the low end and it would be the perfect cut for him. stylish and simple.
