Doctor did pelvic exam and ultrasound and said I'm fine yet I feel like and know I probably have a prolapse. They won't do the exam standing up. Something needs to change in our healthcare for preventative measures

Look in your area for a urogynecology clinic, I’m actually a urogynecology nurse & this is far more common than you’d think. Definitely can be fixed! There’s several options to chose from. Hope this helps!

I have a dr appointment on Wednesday. I definitely have a prolapsed uterus that ive been trying to correct myself but its just getting worse. I have a severely disabled child that needs lifting constantly, he's now 16 and getting heavier,, im terrified of what this means for his care as im a single mum. Im afraid of surgery and recovery. 1 had a complete hysterectomy a few years ago, ever since I've had a prolapse bladder, I've had 2 different size rings put inside me at different times but I'm still suffering in many ways, I'm sure that I need a operation but my doctor doesn't seem interested with my prolapse pain, it's made me very depressed 😢 🇬🇧

My doctor didn't want to do surgery either, but I was living with this for about a year that I know of, and maybe longer. Alway in pain everyday. Was on modified duties from April until September at work and then had surgery 1 week ago today. When i first noticed this it was early Sept of 2022. I had a uterine prolapse and bladder prolapse. I am so glad that I basically told the doctor that I want the surgery, even though she didn't want me to. I am not even 60 years of age, and I discussed this also with my family doctor. My family doctor told me that I was too young for a pessary. Go with your gut. If you want the surgery- tell them that you want it. Just make sure you follow all the instructions afterward. My husband does everything right now while I am healing. Good luck to you, and remember it's your body, not theirs.

@marissagonzalez7195 that's awful. I had a hard time living with it for the length that I did. I will be 60 next year, and I didn't want to live out the rest of my life that way. As soon as I had the operation, that everyday pain was gone. I hope you find a way or other doctor to help you.

The second photo shown isn’t really accurate. If there is anything blocking the hole of your vagina that you can see popping out, you have a prolapse of some sort

so i’m not really sure if i have one or not. i’m very confused and i can’t talk to my mom about it. my hole is very small but i can put a tampon in there with no issue and i can put two fingers in there kinda but mainly one. i feel like a bone or maybe that’s the prolapse right when i stick my finger in on top. is that the prolapse or just a bone that’s normal? idk when i look up pictures everyone’s hole seems big while mine is tight and i feel a lot of tissue. idk someone please help

Make fenugreek laddu and eat it. Give fenugreek powder and mix it with ghee or ghee to make laddu. Eat it with water in the morning. If you have milk then it will be fine with milk. Please accept my opinion and don't trust me by commenting later. I swear to God that those who have this problem take my words seriously.

It's definitely possible. Technically that area can "prolapse" into the vaginal walls as well.

If u have a prolapse that's not giving u any problem just let it stay! Surgery is very expensive, n after u have the surgery u might just go back to having back the prolapse

This is correct. I had 2 surgeries. The first one was where they used my own tissue to try to cinch up my bladder. It felt great for 2 months but then it fell. The second one they used something called a xenograph. It lasted 2 and a half years but I can feel that my bladder has prolapsed again. I tried a pessary and it felt awful inside of me. Now I am just trying to do kegels and deal with it.

I can see a lump coming out of my vagina but when I go to the dr they only see a little bit of it. After I show them. My OB dr said it’s urethral diverticulum. He sent me the the specialist. She said it’s normal and it’s my urethra I’m seeing. It doesn’t seem normal

There can be many contributing factors. Have you tried doing exercises for it?
