Since i picked up the guitar i havent let go of it, free time is my practice time and i will be adding your techniques to my daily routine. Thank you for taking the time to explain tempo in a more simplified way

I've been playing for 12 years, and metronomes always frustrate me. Having seen this video, I feel distinctly like a kid getting on a bike without training wheels for the first time lol

Great video! I also use the Pro Metronome when I practice. I really like the pendulum graphic. It helps me when I am learning patterns with 16ths knowing my down strums should be in sync when it hits the side. Kind of a small feature, but it helps when you are starting out.

I am a self taught guitar player that has learned through noodling and watching KZbin videos but I didn't start until I was 50. I am now 60 and am keenly aware my timing sucks. Most of my struggles playing guitar are with my picking hand. I will try incorporating this technique with the metronome as part of my practice routine. Thanks for posting.

Love your channel! I've watched dozens of your videos and love them all. One question .... for the first time 'Pro' series Martin buyer, what should I look into for a good Fingerpicking Guitar? I've been playing for 35+ years, but am just now getting into buying my first 'Pro' Grade Guitar. I'm looking at the D-18, D-28, or HD28. However, I'd be opened to any suggestions.
@tacguitar5 жыл бұрын
For fingerpicking I would prefer an HD35 or an HD28 because of the scalloped bracing the top is a bit more responsive which is a huge asset to fingerpicking guitar :-)

I'm a 30-year-old with 16 years of guitar playing experience and I have never used a metronome before until now. Yesterday I went into a studio session. And I was a little embarrassed to find out that I couldn't play to the metronome, But I've decided that it's time to teach myself to do so. Because I know that it will make my playing and music knowledge a whole lot better. Thank you for your video. It really helped me a lot.
