I work 1 set to failure. Once a week. And I've had gains that I didn't even remotely reach in my early 20s working 5 days a week.. I gained 8kgs in 12 workout sessions, none of which have lasted More than 25 minutes. Also, you simply CAN NOT recover without carbs. Your muscle isn't mostly protein. It's mostly glycogen and water. Thirdly, your nervous system needs to recover just like your muscle. And NS recovery takes a lot longer then muscle. Without a fully recovered NS, the brain can not communicate with muscle effectively thereby stunting recovery and growth. KZbin doesn't give you all the gyaan. Do your research and apply what you learn to see what works best for you.
