We have a pet cow at home. We don't give it any medicines nor harmones to produce excess milk. We love her so much. She is not a cow but a member of our family. 1st we let her baby have the milk and the rest we take it. Hi all! I tried this kheer today, halved the quantities however. My parents were wondering what I was upto when I said I wasn't going to use Ghee/Milk/Sugar. After making this, and refrigerating it for sometime, served it with the same toppings as mentioned. My mother simply LOVED it. It's a must try for all of us. You won't even feel heavy after such desserts. That's the best part! All in all, for those of you in doubt, please try the kheer. You'll surely like it. PS: Since I don't have such a high-tech blender, I had to first make a paste of the almonds,then add water and then the jaggery etc. The quinoa needs attention while being cooked in the mud pot. In my case, it seemed to get stuck when I immediately realised and turned off the stove. So keep an eye on it. In total,lovely recipe.

On one hand we are using handis and on other blenders, why not sil-batta's?
@somletapandeya74544 жыл бұрын
This is the most perfect question becoz when we use blenders or mixers then due to more friction too... much heat generates then nutrition value of any food blended in blenders or mixers reduced upto 60-70% and she is not using desi cow milk which is "amrt" so when a north indians use too.. much coconut in diet then its harmful due to climatic conditions & she studied naturopathy, which is foreign concept so that this is more suitable for westerners.

@@muskangoel3445 dairy is straight rubbish now.... Hormones fed to cows, chemicals... There's nothing natural in the milk now... Read about it... Nut milk is much much high in protein than this poison... Think about it like this... Why do cows or mammals produce milk? Wheen they have babies not to feed us.. How do they constantly produce milk to feed si many humans? It's not natural right... Pregnancies after Pregnancies to steal their milk which is contaminated with chemicals... Amul won't educate us right they are making billions by selling this chemical we call milk... Switch to homemade almond milk, oats milk... Any other nut milk... I also initially thought how I will but when I realized how milk is totally rotten now, I switched
