I am a sponsored coach and previously ranked top 10 singles and doubles in USTA Sectionals. I have been testing the three Technifibre rackets you mentioned here. I chose the T-FIGHT iso 300 as my racket of choice. I totally agree with your analysis of the 300 and the 305. The TF40 I have been testing is the 315 18x20. This model is really nice as well. It is surprisingly easy to maneuver due to the 310mm balance. I really like the flex and plow-through of the TF40. I enjoy the responsive feel of the T-FIGHT iso 300 and the 305. The 305 I test was probably a little under spected as the swing weight didn't feel as heavy as I had expected. I tried an earlier edition of the TF40 305 18x20 and it felt massive. But the T-FIGHT ISO 305 was still a little too head heavy for me. The 300 is just a perfect blend. I have had a difficult time choosing a model for myself because I liked them all so much. I haven't tested the T-40 305 16x19 yet, but I am sure that I am going to like it a lot. I like the feel of the 64RA best of all. The 300 65RA is also nice because of the plush yet crisp feel that you mentioned. I tested the frames with Razor Code full bed (300 and 305) and the TF40 with Black Code. I also tested the 300 with a full bed of Multifeel which is my string of choice. I know using a multifilament is not the norm but I play well with it and the comfort is a plus. I love that plush yet powerful feel that I get from Multifeel. The only down side with Multifeel is that it breaks really fast especially on clay. Enjoyed your review as it was spot on. By the way, your pronunciation of "vary" was correct the first time. Keep up the good work. Regards from Denmark, Hayward

What are the difference from this year's T flight racket 300 and last year's RS 300. I really liked the RS 300 and picked it up for $99.00 from tennis warehouse instead of paying $249.00 for this year's model. By the way nice video of explaining the differences of the 300, 305 and the T Flight 40.
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Жыл бұрын
Thank you. The biggest difference is definitely the overall feel. The RS version feels more solid, filled, muted, heavier and the new ISO version feels more crisp, fresh, lighter and more manooovrble. I thing actually the RS version of the 300 has better overall performance compared to the ISO, which can feel kind of underpowered and unstable thanks to the overall more "airy" composition.

@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy 9 ай бұрын
Why not. In general if you are able to swing the racket for the whole session or training, it can work for you. Of course I recommend usually lighter rackets for beginners, but sooner or later you would have to switch to a heavier racket so why not to try it right now.

Is the tfight 300 better constructed than the new Extreme? I think it is. I get more control and precision also. Just trying to get a string for the tfight. Using razor code but thinking of black code. I hit with topspin so the extreme pro should be better for me but i like the tfight specially for one handed backhand.
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy 2 ай бұрын
TFight gives you more control and precision without a doubt. For one handed backhand it can be a better racket. Black Code is great, softer, more elastic, yet with great potential and pretty good durability. I like it also for it's tension maintance which is a lot better compared to RPM Blast for example.

Oh. Someone did think of it before..didnt they? Well Babolat did. Babolat Pure Strike has (for many years) the hybrid beam combining the Square beam with the Elliptical. And Pure Strike, the Aero, and even the Boost line has grommet called Woofer, for better spin + power. Also do the Pure Strike has advanced dampening tech in the frame called: C2 pure Feel powered by SMAC. I think Tchnfibr is copy-catting. You find the 18 x 19 in Head Prestige MP ( former Tour) Lots of different string setups in the other brands. Also you can actually leave out/skip a string in a 18 x 20 and make it a 18 x 19
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy 11 ай бұрын
You brought up some valid points for sure. Tecnifibre was heavily inspired by Babolat and their Pure Drive and Pure Strike series. Not so much with Pure Aero. I still use the TFight XTC 295 from 2019 and this racket feels like Pure Drive, looks like Pure Drive and plays quite similar to Pure Drive. And I have to say it's excellent. Then they've released the TFight RS series (2021 I think), which was inspired by Pure Strike rackets. Not so special about them, felt quite mediocre. But now they have the ISO rackets and they are different. They feel unique and fresh. The TF40 line is still a well done copy of the Pure Strikes in my opinion. Overall I think Tecnifibre is nowadays trying to establish as a racket company with their own unique style and approach. Interestingly many players think that their first TFight rackets with the Dynacore HD technology were their best. I also think that the XTC technology by TEI company was ecellent. Nowadays they use this tech in their newest padel rackets. The XTC tech is probably very similar to the C2 Pure Feel by SMAC since the TEI is an international manufacturer offering high-quality products and services to aviation industry. So they have probably very similar construction in that sense. At the end of the day, all high-performance rackets are made of carbon fiber and this material is the heart of the racket. For me personally the only very unique racket company that actually inovates the tech by their own and they feel different is the Yonex. All the other rackets feel very similar in my opinion because they are made in the same factories each behind different door. Only Yonex is made in Japan in their own factory with their own build process. Yonex is probably the only company that doesn't copy others. But who really knows. Thnaks for your comment.

I got the Tfight 305 and bought the TF40 ( old version) last year on clearance. After playing with both, I preferred the TF40. I also added 4 grams of tape at 3 9 which made it super stable when reaching and stretching for shots. Im eager to try the new TF40 but I love the looks of the Tfight with the white grommets and bumper guard. The Tfight I felt has a bigger sweet spot but its very powerful and the TF40 was better when hitting with harder hitters.

I think Speed MP feels like a more classic frame with maybe just a little bit more control. Tfight 295 iso on the other hand is easier to pick up and play with, it has better manooovrlbity and feels more playful. Probably for someone who wants to improve up to a tournament play, the Speed MP will hold longer. I would suggest the Tfight for a intermediate women and the Speed MP for intermediate men.

First of all congrats for your english pronunciation, really good. So good i didnt think You were from Czech Republik. And thanks for your comments about these raquets. I'm a technically advanced player 55 years old switching to a 98 head size racquest after many years with a 102. I feel more touch and control with 98 and maybe one of these racquets could be good for me and my strong top spin forehand. At the moment i'm trying a 2018 Yonex Vcore VS of a friend. Greetings from Rome Italy and like for You.

Hi Lucio, thank you for your support. Your path is kind of similar like mine. I used to play with a 100 inch2 head size most of my life but I went for a 98 inch2 recently and I love it. It's a shame that I didn't make this change 10-15 years ago because I always had a great touch and feel for the ball and with 98 inch rackets it gets to a completely different level. For me it feels like I have now unlocked my full potential that has always been there. People around me say I play the best tennis of my life and I'm 39 years and I don't practice as often as when I was younger. So it really depends on your skill and the way you hit the ball. If you are hitting it perfectly all the time, it would be a shame if you stick with a 102 inch rackets all your life. So I wish you happy hitting with the smaller head size.

It would be an easy switch because the ISO feels more soft, powerful and with little bit more touch and feel. I actually didn't like the RS versions too much, because they felt dull und unresponsive to me. The ISO versions are much more alive in my opinion and they have greater energy transfer.

This might be a good option. I recommend the 285 g version - it packs outsanding power and spin, way better then with most 290-295 g rackets. It's almost like you hit with a regular 300 g racket, but you can control and swing the racket very fast without getting tired. It might be a really good option for people who were using some MP Lite rackets before.

Beautiful looking rackets. I like the white look. Realistically the T-Fight 300 would be for me. The T-Fight 305 seems intimidating with that high swing weight, while the TF40's specs seem pretty inviting. The 305RS felt little bit too muted, kind of "lazy" let's say. The new ISO stick has more easy power and crisper feel to the shots. The Prince Textreme tour series is a better use of white and the previous edition of the t-fight was a better balance of white . The newer edition of the t-fight in holding and playing with , in my opinion is bland . Tennis racquets like bags and grips are white , in order to reflect heat radiation back out during a high temperature day . Technifibre is known primarily as a string company , that also produced later squash racquets and only recently tennis racquets . I have seen , that in order to get super precision from the tf40 , you must during a serve grip it with a more western grip .

A lot of this is just marketing nonsense. Most of the top pro's use frames that are no longer in production and are painted to look like a current frame. A good county player or state/regionally ranked player can play with ANY racket given the right grip size right string and tension and right frame weight. Too much of this industry is built on gimmicks which do nothing for one's game.
@CzechTennisGuy
@CzechTennisGuy Жыл бұрын
Yes, that's true. These are rackets for the general public. But I will correct you in one quite important thing - most pro's means in real life only about the first TOP 50 players, maybe. The other pro's out of this ranking hit with stock rackets or with some customized stock rackets you can buy for yourself. My cousin is 320 on WTA (Michaela Bayerlova, 24 years old) and she plays with regular Pure Aero rackets that she has to buy her self. She has no sponsorship. It's a tough game and only the very best get the best equipment. Myself I can also play with almost any racket (Blade, Gravity, Extreme, Radical, Dunlop you name it) but I will always have to adjust something to that particular frame to avoid unforced errors, which can lead to more cautious game, which is not something you can win matches with.

@@CzechTennisGuy No problem. Your Tecnifibre review gave me food for thought as I am going through the process of choosing a new racquet. I returned to tennis last summer after a gap of more than 20 years (used to play for my club at the time) and have begun to play in a local tennis league. However, I have a very old Prince Graphite Comp 90, 14x18, 349g from the 1990s and have to find something more up to date. I would prefer a European-made racquet, like Tecnifibre, Babolat or Dunlop, although I am open to Yonex too. However, even narrowing it down to those brands, it is still a bit of a nightmare narrowing it down to one. I am 63 by the way, reasonably fit for my age and serves and volleys are my best shots, but I've forgotten how to hit a two-handed backhand so am back to single-handed, so I am trying to find a racquet that best suits. Now just found your "Why You Should Buy An "Average" Tennis Racket" video and that was helpful too.
