Austin , this is a great topic. This video has helped me to reassess a current project that I am editing. When looking at the story from the perspective of these themes, it completely changed the approach that I am using. The arc is there, I just didn't see it before. Thank you, sir.

Hey Austin, thanks for another valuable video lesson. Dropping a request here for a future video: sharing your equipment storage solutions. With the assortment of cameras, lenses, batteries, audio equipment, stands, and other doodads that we compile over time, I'm frequently at a loss for the best way to store gear. I can understand having a go-bag of regular gear ready to go at a moment's notice, but otherwise, are you using shelves, drawers, cases, etc. for the rest? (Aside from the shelves in your background in videos like this one.) I've spent time searching for info and don't find it a point of much discussion. I've gotten answers like "it sits on the floor of my closet" from friends. Trying to find better solutions than that. And dust does not play well with A/V equipment, so it seems like open shelves are not ideal. Anyway, would love to hear your thoughts on the matter and/or what you've seen other pros doing. Thanks. Loving your content.

Hey! Thanks so much for watching this video and leaving a comment. I really appreciate it. Oohh, equipment storage solutions. Great question! To be honest, I don't have many strong opinions on this question, or any solutions that I have spent much time thinking about. In fact, my main gear storage is what you see behind my shoulder in these videos. I found these two wooden shelves on Facebook Marketplace, picked them up, put some string lights on them, and fastened a makeshift curtain to it for when I am not in the room. The shelves are organized by video equipment, audio, hard drives, charging station, etc. As of now, all of my lights and stands are in cases in the closet. Not a sexy solution, but it's working for me these days!
