Listening to St. John Vianney’s story makes me think of how much I doubted myself in the past, especially in school studies. I was a terrible student I just didn’t get a lot of things in school but I do know one thing and that is the faith that I had as a child in Jesus and our blessed mother Mary I always prayed to both the Immaculate heart and Sacred heart. I pray for the vocations of my family that we strive for sainthood! In all things Fiat Voluntas Tua TJTM ✝️🕊️🙏🏼

Salve Maria! Thank you for this talk about a Saint that I knew very little about. St.Jean Vianney was one of my Mom's favorite Saints and now I know why, she had 5 boys and none of them wanted to be priests. She must have called upon St. Jean Vianney for intercession, but it wasn't in God's plan. My Mom was still proud of her 7 children and loved each us differently as only a mother can. In his youth St John Vianney struggled in academics. This is not an insult, it is a fact of his life. You've made an error to think high holiness must be accompanied by high IQ. In fact, high IQ often leads to pride, which causes people to stray. More often, we do not get high IQ saints like St Thomas Aquinas, and instead Saints like St. Bernadette and St. Joseph Cupertino are much more common.
