Respectfully, this is the strangest "3 reasons" video i've ever seen. The first complaint is that this watch isn't a different watch...Um, ok.....The second is that it could have been bought cheaper elsewhere..You could say that about 99% of watches that aren't Rolexes....The third is that it isn't a "flex" but, you don't buy watches to flex but still,,,this isn't a flex watch and so this is something to hold against it and make you regret your purchase...But, again, you don't buy watches to flex..That's not who you are and what you're about.......These are all just ridiculous points...Sorry, don't mean to offend you but this is just silliness.

Never buy a watch to boost your ego. Buy it because you enjoy it and appreciate the aesthetics and craft that the watch makers have infused into it.

Did you get a big crown sub ? Otherwise the Pelagos is the only true modern sub alternative. I had subs and i have the bb58 now. Nothing comparable. Your opinion is only based on your craving for a the status of the rolex brand.

Not sure I agree but it is all personal. I have a 2-tone sub and then I got the BB58, 2 different occasions for wearing the watches and I wear the Tudor more. I think a sub is pretty plain for the cost, unless you get the one with the green dial, 2-tone or precious metal. Also, a Blancpain 50 Fathoms is the pinnacle of dive watches, not a Sub.

Its funny I have a sub date and I never wear it compared to my BB58. Also I would never recommend a Tag.

You shouldn’t be buying a BB58 as an alternative for a sub 🤦🏻 if you want a sub then save up and buy the sub.

Guys, it’s things he wishes he’d have known. He’s posting a video into the ether, and sharing his journey. He wanted a submariner, he wanted people to talk to him about his submariner. Everything he said is correct, and he learned a relatively cheap lesson. And he’d rather people see him wearing a Tag aquaracer than actually wear a good watch. So be it.

Thank you for understanding these are mistakes I made! Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. Although I feel like I need to clarify the last point: I personally don’t wear to impress others and don’t mind that people don’t know my Tudor. I was just warning people who want to flex their watch.

i’ll gladly give you 2k for that. these go for 3-3.5k used. your comments about a rolex sub apply to every other watch. it’s the standard by which divers are measured. of course the tudor stays in the box more. so does every other watch.

The ad got you hooked, the bb is the sacrificial piece to get on a waiting list for a Rolex. Always remember to stay disciplined and patient, compromising of want one thing for something else you don’t really want is for fools. All hype eventually dies off, including Rolex demand as the economy crashes, people realise its just another watch brand. All part of the learning experience.

You wanted a Sub and bought a Black Bay. You are concerned with value retention and bought a Tudor. Tudor is still better than Tag. These were things you could have reconciled before buying the Tudor.

At the end of the day, don't settle. I was seriously looking for a good deal for a bb58 or 54 online for weeks but got a call for 124060. Be patient and go with your heart.

I literally said I don’t buy watches to flex… I was speaking for people who buy watches to flex because in my experience, no one ever knows what a Tudor is.
