3 things to do instead of struggling with creative block (which doesn't really exist)

Creative block doesn't exists. "Blocks" are in your mind - whether it's in your creative practice, love life, or otherwise.
Creative block is really just an opportunity to reevaluate where you'd like to redirect your overflow of creative energy. Just because it isn't flowing clearly doesn't mean it's not working.
Since finishing Seasons of Life, my debut book of poetry, fable stories, and photography coming out in fall 2024, I've been less than creatively inspired, despite how motivated I am to succeed as an author.
Is that a problem? Well, if I believed in creative burnout or creative block, then yes, it absolutely would be.
I'd probably feel really anxious, let others tell me who I am, waver in my path, and second guess everything I do if I believe that.
But I don't do that. t's a waste of time.
So this video today is a reflection on how my writing process has changed since finishing my book, now that the revisions and editing are out of the way, the manuscript is completely polished, my book design has my words.
