I would actually do everything but this at Bimini. The tram is nice but rent a golf cart to go all over the island yourself, skip Paradise beach go to the south point beach. Way better, less crowded and no jelly fish ever (due to the way the currents flow) and then use your golf cart to hop around to food trucks or restaurants and bars all over

We found a really cool school called Gateway and it has a church. We are planning on going there with craft activities for the kids on the island. We walked and talked with local folks. We were not impressed with the casinos, Big John's or the liquor stores... Hemingway's old house is just a bunch of ruins. We enjoyed a local beachfront park where folks were playing checkers. Was fun hanging out with natives. The taxi drivers and golf cart folks were way over-charging for rentals. One guy quoted my fam for a 6 seater and a 4 seater golf cart for $270. We were able to get cabs for $3/person.

The free beach (Radio Beach) and the dolphin house are must sees as well. The free beach has all the vibes; music, food, drinks, people, beautiful water. That's where I stayed and it was lovely.

Yes it was open to gamble and grab a drink. Here you can also use the bathrooms and use the atm. There aren't any other stops on the tram for these things.

I can’t believe they said you could take a JetSki from Miami to Bimini. I grew up in South Florida. I don’t know how many times I took our boats from Boca to Bimini. Only an idiot would try it on a JetSki. You know how easy it would be to miss it And go out into the middle of the Atlantic? And who wants to be on a JetSki in 2 to 4 foot seas for an hour?

Unfortunately it is the only free beach on the tram if you're exiting the cruise port. There are other free beaches which you can rent a golf cart to visit. Another thing guest were suggesting was take the tram to the last tram stop which is the casino and use their facilities.

It's a beautiful island, well worth the trip. We took the free Tram to Paradise beach, right next to Resorts World. They had chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, and other water sport items for rent at a reasonable cost. They also had a couple vendors for drinks and snacks. Didn't need to pay for the excursion and had a great time. Next time we will rent a golf cart but research which vendor to use first.

Bimini was definitely worth it when we went the 2nd time in November 2021 we had a better understanding of the island. We rented a golf cart and explored the island which was so much better.

This is a POOR representation of this island. You only showed the new resort development. Just rent a golf cart and exit the gate there are many local shops and restaurant all of Bimini is safe. Carnival and the ferries promote their own excursions and people dont get to experience the authentic island.

Where can you rent the golf carts? I do not want to just sit at a beach, as a Floridian I can swim everyday. I do want t do a jet ski rental and see the stingrays but not through carnival.
