I disagree on the position, especially in regards to the heavier rider needing a higher angle of attack. It’s really about positioning yourself over the center of effort of the front foil and being balanced over that lift. A higher angle of attack induces drag with poor flow and lift. The big guy needs a big front foil. Analogy… you’ll never get 20 guys in a single prop airplane off the runway no matter the ground speed. You just can’t generate the lift. At best you might be able to pop a wheelie by increasing the angle of attack. Big guys really need big foils.
