Lose grip is really hard to use when cutting my own hair. My whal clipper is also super heavy and my hands get tired. The close is also not really a 0mm close so at some areas i am having trouble removing the bald guide line. I use a wet shaver to shave my hair.

Lot of good tips bro, thanks. I do my own hair since covid. Got a decent clipper and start doing what my barber always did lol. Looks good every time. Even barbers told me i did a great job. So tips and tricks are always welcome. Im gonna try to losen up the lever a bit and see if that helps getting the lines more cleaner. Only thing i have a little trouble with is cutting the back and the sides of the back. Im using 2 mirrors but i always hold 1 when im fading 😅 I love cutting and fading my own hair. Saves me 50 bucks a month 2 lol.

Look man I’m 15 years old struggling to make fades work and I’m having a real hard time trying to take the lines out but when I try the flick out motion i tend to cut way more then what I entended to and man it frustrates me so much and also I don’t know how what clipper I have it’s like a white wahl clipper and it don’t really work for me. I gotta couple of questions and I’ll appreciate if you’d answer them for me; do dull blades make an impact on taking out the line? Does it have to be zero gap? How long do cheap clippers tend to last? If you can answer this for me I’d be very happy and it’ll help me get better at barbering because every time I do a shitty cut on my brothers I get so discouraged and idk I just want help from a professional to help me have sharper fades. And can u recommend some clippers for me that’ll last and are good? I’d appreciate it
@MikeMula9094 жыл бұрын
Keep at it kid don't get discouraged not everything works the first time 100 cuts and you will se the difference blades do effect the cut and invest in some good equipment I'm not a pro but have some exp....this guy did a great video...
@andyfademaster4 жыл бұрын
Yes Man dont get discouraged just try to keep practicing the same methods over and over until it becomes natural. If you are raising the line when you flick then you could try flicking with a guard on first then just removing the dark spots lightly. Everything is going to come to the pressure and the angle on how you use the clipper. As far as the blades go I believe the duller the blade the better the fade, heres why: with sharp new blades the clippers cut sharp with no room for error, when the blades are dull it gives you a little forgiveness, you may need to make a few passes before it cuts i all perfectly but if you remove to much with new blades you can never add more hair. As far as clippers go I would recommend you get yourself a Cordless Magic Clip they are great.

Hey can u make a video how to adjust the lever to be loosen like yours ? And also I have a problem when I do a skin fade or a bald fade and I put my bald line with WHAL trimmer I can only get the left side blended out but the back and the right it seems I can’t take the line out and I don’t know why and also do I need to zero gap my clippers in order to take the line out ??? Quick question... I just started tryna cut hair like 2 weeks ago... I know how to do the guide lines... But I want tour expertise... So u make the bald line with the clippers all the way closed, then u go behind that for the second line with which one? Then which setting to get rid of the bald line?

my technique is as followed : 1-Make the bald line. 2-make a 1 inch line with the lever back. 3. use the half guide with the lever back and make a line thats 1/2 in thick. 4- then i fade out the line above that with the 1 guide open. 5- clipper over comb, shear over comb the bulk line. 6- then remove the skin line
