Fading Steps
- Debulk if needed
- Set in guideline with open lever
- 1 guard lever open next guideline
- 1.5, guard blend up
- Clipper over comb if needed
- Blend guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
- Continue blending guideline w/ 1 guard 3qtr
- Set in bald guideline w trimmer
- Blend out with clipper lever closed, half way, 3/4, then fully open
- Do any touch up work
- Use trimmers to take out bottom hair
- Trim top to desired length
- Use electric shaver
- Do any line up with trimmers
- Shave with straight razor

A lot of what they teach at barbering school is how to do VERY TIGHT SKIN fades, they don’t teach you how to do these kind of fades that are very soft fades, nice change in color, and keeping some darker color look higher on the head. You’ll still get them clients, but just keep learning my man 🤟🏽

My guys, I’ve started out cutting using your tutorials and I even mimic your hand grips but I feel slight tingling/slight pain or weakness in my fingers after a haircut using the cordless seniors (its less with some old corded ones with low power but they don’t cut as nice…). Is this normal & something to get used to or do I need some kind of medical attention? Because I have no other known illnesses thank God, I’m only 20!
