3 Tips that make the Whisperer EASY

Hey everyone. One thing I wanted to mention that I recently learned, but isnt a Whisperer specific tip: If you feel that you're switching your prayers properly, but the attacks are still hitting you... you might be right! If you're used to the timing from Zebak, the new DT2 bosses check your prayer at the time of impact. Zebak checked 1 tick before. Just make sure you account for that slight change when doing the DT2 bosses. I know this is something that really threw me off when I was learning these bosses.

OH SHIT. I did not know that. I have done roughly 900 solo TOA runs over the last year, even doing 340/350 level difficulty expert raids solo. but I was having trouble with Whisperer, who is far less complicated than 350 solos. I didn't realize the timing was a bit different. I have done about 100 Leviathan since I last tried Whisperer, so I am going to go back and give Whisperer another try- now that I have done Leviathan for practice.

Been struggling on the enrage phase (panic time!) despite finishing all other dt2 bosses... this tile setup is a lot better for my brain. Tremendously helpful

Just finished my axe at whisp. Love this boss. If anyone is struggling your prolly just panicking in the enrage phase. Enraged phase always starts with range. Soon as you get into enraged phase att boss and run a few tiles. Hit the boss again and by the time you get mouse back to prayer book you switch prayer. This puts you in perfect rhythm. Don't stop moving. And always pray pot before entering enraged phase. Having to sip a pot while learning thus phase will get you killed

it doesn't let me exit the shadow realm during the pillars once i've entered it and how do you do ground marker setup during enrage phase? my tile markers disappear when we enter it and i have to remark during the phases..

The tiles are pretty usefull. Pro tip: You dont have to run around the circle of tiles if she is not exactly in the middle, just go back and forth on a few. Enraged phase is easy if you remember its always 2-2 for the attacks, I like to ignore the tiles, and just spam run around her, remembering to run after every attack.

Great guide! One question, when I clicked on my black fragment when I am in the shadow realm I didn’t went back to ”normal phase”... Did I missclicked 10 times or is it something u need to change?

@@georgedrrxryikdoy2628 150 is the minimum for the chance at good drops, that doesnt include your room points have to be above a certain threshold to not receive petrified dung as ur drop

When I try to exit the shadow realm I get "You blackstone fragment seems unresponsive" and I cannot exit :(

You have to be relatively quick about it, otherwise youre stuck in. I dont know the exact time but it's only a few seconds!

So any tile you mark in the "overworld" is directly translated to the Shadow Realm (when you use the crystal) by swapping the ID number. I have all the tiles I have marked in the video shown below. But if you want to mark something different, you can mark the tile in the overworld, copy paste the coordinates into Word and change every 10595 into 9571 and you can export that back in to have it marked in the Shadow Realm!

Thralls are huge and without ice barraging 3x for the 3 stuns, that's 3 shadow smacks worth of damage your loosing + everything your thralls hit.

Yeah, I can't argue against that! Thralls are 100% optimal. I just personally found the chill aspect of freezes really nice.

Man I wish we had tile markers on mobile! As a mobile-only player who’s finally at the levels and gear required for some of the high-level pvm stuff, it sucks not being able to mark tiles, as just about every guide recommends it.

I seriously need some help, i have over 100 kills in all the other 3 bosses and 0 on the whisperer, my computer is fine but for some reason cant handle running this boss and gets all glitchy making my clicks all fucked up, anyone else experiencing this problem?!?!

Actually i have the same issue if im not using performance mode on my laptop. Getting huge fps drops without it, like 12-20 fps.

I would experience some frame dropping during the orb walking portion of the kill. Do you have any of the GPU settings (either regular GPU, or 117HD) turned on?

@BigBoyApprovedGaming I'll check it and figure that out, I found the way to put it into performance mode it helped a bit but enrage phase hits me with 2 tentacles dropping majority of my sanity before my clicks start registering, ill check my settings again and let you know if it fixes anything incase someone else is experiencing this same issue.

this fight is fuckin stupid there's times you just click and then diagionally walk in a tentacle or your black charcoal thing just doesn't pop during the wave phase and u get hit with 35 for no reason i hate this shit

I can't fucking do this fight. By the time I get to the enrage phase I'm either out of food or out of sanity. None of the guides have helped. You have to manage movement + eating/potions + prayer switching MID BARRAGE and I can't work that fast. None of the other DT2 bosses were even close to this hard. I'm actually dumbfounded by the prospect that the boss is somehow going to be HARDER on the refight after the quest.

Something that helps me - always make sure youre full prayer entering the enrage phase - do this even if you're only giving yourself 10-15 prayer, it'll help. Make sure you turn on Protect Range while she's healing herself to enter the Shadow Realm. Also - If you're following the circle setup I have shown in the video, if you aren't sure if the tile is safe, just move to the next one! Safer to do that than to stay for an extra tick and possibly get hit

there's no way i'm going to mark those tiles in the shadow realm. Tiles you mark in the overworld on runlite don't carry over to the enrage phased shadow realm anymore. It was a bitch to mark just 4 tiles at the end of the fight.

I have some wonderful news for you! You dont need to manually mark the tiles, I've already done it for you! If you right click the globe that opens the world map with Tile Indicators turned on in RuneLite, there is an "Import Ground Markers" option. You can simply copy the coordinates I have in the video description and import them into your game!

@@quirkyelephant Underneath that section, there is a huge list of coordinates. Copy that entire segment listed and then right click the world map icon under your minimap and select "import." It will take the coordinates from your copy!
