Nice tips ! I've heard of sanding a block but not razoring one that looked spiffy!

Thanks! This helped a lot! Seriously, I've been printing for two years now and this video is a life changer. Fixative on the block.. I can't believe I never thought of that!! Also, shaving the block! Wooow and then the powder for cleaning. Incredible. All of these tips are so good

Great video, thank you for the tips! Are you supposed to fixative or varnish the prints to seal the ink after drying? I haven't tried out more than one type of ink yet (water based) but I can smudge my prints after like 2 month but can't find any info on this topic :(

Hmmm, that sounds uncharacteristic of water based ink. usually it should be dry a week, if not a few days. It sounds like too much ink on the paper. After you print you can try laying a piece of newsprint or copy paper over the fresh print and apply pressure with your hands to blot off excess ink.

I use Pfeil palm carving tools. In that shot on the table behind me is the "PFEIL "Swiss Made" Palm Set B, 6 Pieces"
