3 to 5 window conversion 1954 Chevy Truck

Makes me highly appreciative for the stock ones in my 50. Never know how much they help, till you need to see where something is before it's too late. Friend was at a swap meet not long after these kits come to market. There was an old man sitting in his lawn chair who had his 5 window on display. My friend said he said to the old man... They tell me that they are coming out with a kit that will fill them 2 side windows in. He said the old man got livid on that note. -gilpin 3-30-16

Hi, I just saw your old video of a early Chevy rear 3 window conversion. I have a 54 one window. It had been a farm truck, the rear glass was missing, and the interior metal panel for the window was rotten. Is the inner metal, just for the center section available ?. Or do you have the old one you could sell. Thanks

It looked like a flange weld on the cab roof, unless I was mistaken. I thought butt welds were better to prevent future rust.

If you had a good 5 window upper cab, would a windshield pillar splice and beltline joint rejoin be a viable alternative?

I third. It is like a sunroof, which I also hate! There is an idea. They should make a kit for a sunroof in a five widow! There is something for everybody I guess.
