If I pick a story that sounds like it's written by a normal person, folks complain that it's written badly or has too much common phrasing. If I pick a story well written, folks scream "FAKE". Damn I can't win. Just remember that I'm here to entertain, NOT to deliver news or to fact check. If some of y'all can't believe distorted-space/time stories but are all for giant humanoid wolves that transformed under a full moon, I don't even know what to think or do anymore. This is why I tried that disclaimer a long time ago that said "these stories are alleged true and it's up to you to decide".

You sound as if you're pretty beleagured right now and I'm sorry about that. Honestly, stories that are better written or have been polished up are fine, people will just have to make up their own minds what is true and what isn't, just like always :) I think you do a great job, you're a channel I have stuck with for years and you have some of the best of the more unusual cryptid stories which are what I love. I just re-listened to some of your old stories - including "The Lantern, The Boatmen and the Crying Children" and it's still creepy as all get out. And it sounds professionally written. I like that. Do people want a bunch of stories written in the same way as people speak? It would get annoying fast and age badly but instead that one is a classic. You're making the right choice. Also I remember comments from people saying that listening to well-written stories helps them to learn English, so there's that, too. At the end of the day you're not a public servant, you're not obligated to do any videos for us, and I appreciate what you do. Don't let the bastards grind you down, as we say over here. If you can, smile and tell them that their comments count as engagement for the Algorithm God ... what they say doesn't matter to it!

You have over half a million subscribers. The more subs you have, the more hate you will see. That's a KZbin truth. I wouldn't worry about the folks who complain. They have nothing better to do so it's best to ignore them. Besides, as someone else pointed out, even negative comments count as interaction so whether they like it or not, their negative comments actually help your channel! The algorithm sees how many comments you have and recommends your videos to people who are not yet subscribed based on that number. Heck, that's how I found you I think.... Unless it was a collab you did with Let's Read, J Nightmare, Raven Reads, or one of the other half dozen horror narration channels I'm subbed to. In any case, just know you have WAY MORE lovers than haters! I enjoy all your videos even though I don't comment often. I'm writing this one because I read your comment about not being able to satisfy your listeners. The only listeners that matter are the ones who love your content, your voice, etc. And many of us exist. Some of us don't care how true the story is, some just accept that probably not all of the supposedly true stories are true, and that's ok. I prefer true stories but if they aren't, and you're reading them, I'm still satisfied. And so are many, many others. You do you, my friend. Haters will come and go, but those of us who are loyal will always be here for you! 🙂💙

I like the first story and a similar incident happened to me. About 8 pm. To cut the story short, I entered a room that was brightly lit and buzzing with life (colleagues laughing and chatting) But after I stepped through the door, there was no one inside. The light was still on but eerily not a single soul in sight. When you tell people such happenings, it is true no one believes or takes it seriously.

@@DonRoyalX it was an abandoned army camp which our office(under massive renovation, am in govt job) temporarily occupied. Our staff room was a room barracks. I was just collecting my lap top after a staff dinner. Initially it did cross my mind why anyone shd be there when I was the first to skip the after dinner coffee chat to rush home. Anyway I just went ahead to quickly collect my lap top and left. However, crossing path with anything paranormal is nvr good cos after that, my dog died, water leaked from the walls of my house, I fell and ended up with a broken arm(many more, all within a span of few months).. Though could be just coincidences. I got myself baptised after that, so far so good, touch wood.

Years ago, my cousins and I decided to visit our family and drove to a "near" location, but at some point we took a wrong turn (nop, no Google maps or anything like that on that time). We arrived to a little town at 2 or 3 am. Silent town, nothing weird until we heard chanting and saw a bunch of people, probably the whole town, in dark tunics, with a creepy cross and candles in a procession. We drive super slow and at some point we realized how foggy was everything. When the group of people stopped and looked at us my cousin drove as fast as he could. We didn't stop until we found a normal town. Nothing really scary but it was for us.
