I had alot of boxes of nickels but ultimately decided I can profit more from hitting the lows in bitcoin and silver and selling for a profit if I pay attention to those markets and seem to have found pretty smart people to help me think about what's gonna happen short term. I've been buying and selling some silver and BTC for a few years now. Pulling profit everytime so I can get more I guess lol. I do have 8 boxes of nickels I'm just holding onto but I don't want more and no one seems to like war nickels so I sell them as soon as I get a few. We also will have some warning before they end making nickels and if that day comes I will race out and buy alot. But in the meantime I won't stack anymore of those

I bought 3,000 Wartime Nickels several years ago, which are BAD to stack, but I got them for so cheap I knew I could make some profit with them. I actually traded them for some guns, and did quite well. I also had 2,500 Clad Kennedy Halves (not good to stack) I got cheap in an auction, and I sold them as soon as Spot went up enough for me to make 5% profit.

Those Mexico peso the 10% total is on the out side which is about .700 what is under the heavy plating is 0% silver it flakes off easy and turn black so if they show wear there even worse

Fractional silver is probably not a good choice, either. The only exception would be if someone sells it at no premium vs what a 1 Oz bar/round.

@@TheKANSASKIDD Along with the "back yard silver" I do have a but t ton of "store bought" to go with it. All told we have over 30k oz. silver and over 1200oz gold. Look, if it's a precious metal, in any form, it has value. It does depend on the price paid. My younger brother and I would buy the mexican pesos when we were kids just to have some, but we never paid much. We lived very close to the border, so they were easy to come by. We'd mow a lawn and but silver or gold mexican coin. And we were doing this in the late 60's to the late 70's. And we did CASH IN when the dallas brothers tried to corner the silver market. So, how much are you willing to pay for trashy silver? Pennies or dollars! Just be glad they are still taking fiat currency for something of value!

I don't understand why someone would pay that high a premium for an ounce of silver in ingot form or hand poured little bars. After all, it is just an ounce of silver. Collect what you like at the price you like. But I'm with you on those 3 for stacking. I don't usually spend more than $35.00 for an ounce bar or round. Great video.👍

Don’t count out the 35 % war nickels. I think everybody should have at least 20 or $30 worth of those, just don’t pay over spot. if silver ever gets to triple digits, they would be a good barter coin. ☕️☕️

I’ve got some Yeager I bought about 5 years ago, I thought the price was outrageous at $25/oz but I like the designs, so I bought a few hundred dollars worth. Now the spot is near $35, I’m sure these would turn a good profit. It’s a long term investment. Happy stacking!! 🪙

That would be the best option, alongside with 999 pure. But historically many countries had 50% silver coins, most notorious the english coins after 1920, for sure i would collect and stack these coins. Also most common silver coins from my country, Greece, are 83,5 % silver.
