The right decision? The only decision. And one we didn't see coming. It was defeat staring us in the face by gosh and he throws a "hail Mary" and that rarely works but it stuck! It was a play where we thought we'd tried everything (within reason, because we don't want to grind away the entire stone), but it just wasn't giving. By the way, they are in a word, "Stunning"! There is no other way to have shown the color, Brilliant, both the stone and your decision.

When Justin cut that thing open and basically gasped *out loud* with all of the Opals he's seen you know it was something spectacular to make him do that. He's no newbie to this game so that kind of reaction was just beautiful.

Fabulous - I love the way the designer has created the pillars of silver on either side of the opal, the silver mounts are just perfect. So much classier than using gold. Top notch!

Oh, yet another lovely video! It must be a lot of fun holding a rough opal, because you’ve got SO MANY POSSIBILITIES. I’m sure you think of all the potential a stone has, and then I can see why grinding and grinding and grinding would be so disheartening. It’s hard to be an artist and have your materials run amok. Ruth’s design is really gorgeous. I love the shape she designed for the earrings you ultimately showed us. I think the visual weight of it is just PERFECT. Nice save ! I was sweating it out with you Justin. Watching this. That 1st cut at the saw really had me hyped we were going to see something really spectacular, then, as each millimeter was rubbed away my heart sank with yours and I couldn’t help thinking “Oh no !
