8:19 - Just a little research help for you guys, but you have your date wrong. Nintendo Koppai (later shortened to Nintendo) was actually founded on September 23, 1889 (not 1886). 8:53 - Another note: Nintendo didn't start out in the games business with Miyamoto. He entered the company sometime between 1979-1980. Genyo Takeda developed "EVR Race" years before that (in 1975) and they already had experience with Gunpei Yokoi's (inventor of the Game Boy) Game & Watch systems. Miyamoto was only allowed to create Donkey Kong when Nintendo desperately needed something to replace the failed "Radar Scope" arcade cabinets in the U.S. Although Shigeru Miyamoto is undoubtedly the most important person in the industry still alive today, please double check your information next time.

@Great Big Story I usually love your content, but there's one glaring error I found in this video that really just took me out of it. Exactly when was this video filmed? The reason I bring it up is because it's upload date is June 30, 2019, but around 11:16 in the video, you talk about looking for Mario Segale who "still lives in the Seattle area." The only problem is that Mario Segale died in October 2018, which is well before this video came out. So either you didn't research enough for that part of the episode, you filmed this months and months before you posted it, or you made it up for reasons. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it was a either a research error or super late upload. I'd appreciate some clarification.
