Actually, the pacman score had actually been done before, about ten years earlier. Twin Galaxies, (The company that keeps video game records) Got a lot of money from billy mitchell, and he was friends with the owner at the time. So Twin Galaxies made it seem like it was Billy Mitchell who first set the record, when it was actually Steve Wiebe.

Though putting Warren Robinett's name into Adventure for the Atari in 1979 made Easter eggs well known, it wasnt the first. Brad Reid-Selth put his last name into the game, Video Whizball for the Fairchild Semiconductor in 1978, the year before Robinett.
