Initially those samples came from sounds from synthesizers or real recordings, but they were compressed to be able to fit on the hardware Mother 3 ran on. Nintendo technically never owned the sounds themselves in the first place, and thanks to that, now they're available for public use in all their crunchy goodness. =>

I always wondered why "Donor live" and "Atlantis live" were the only 2 tracks in the OST that specifically used the word "live", seems like they were replacing these cut ones! You can really hear the similarities, especially in Donor. Though these are also good I'm really glad that the new ones were used, as they are more fitting.

I think Cheesy may have originally created those two on MIDIs and then recorded them on real instruments (hence the "live" part of it)

Donor and Atlantis sound very fitting for credits themes for the respective seasons their live versions feature in. Though only Atlantis would work for end credits in season 2, as there are intro credits and ending credits already in season 1, and honestly I already love the variety of music used in the season 2 credits.

Atlantis and Donor are good, but I like the live counterparts more. They fit their scenes more in my opinion. Also, Snapback Locker is really good. Clever use of the TLC slam sound effect.

Jesus Christ, Atlantis is awesome. I’d say the same thing for Snapback Locker, it’s a pretty heinous track, but a bop. I can see why it wasn’t used though, it sounds like a track made for the Boja EP imo I am disappointed slightly that Atlantis wasn’t used. It’s obviously good, I can see why it wasn’t used, but it somewhat sounds like it has more emotion to it. Either way, both tracks are sick Also, listening to Donor while writing this, I can see why it wasn’t used. But it’s still awesome as HECK. although it definitely would’ve been a different vibe used for the series, it’d a nice track along with the other 2

"Donor" and "Atlantis" would probably replace "Donor live" (plays at the start of s2) and "Atlantis live" (plays in the scene with toothpaste going to earth). As for "Snapback locker" I have no clue where, probably before episode 13 of since it wouldn't really fit anywhere after except maybe episode 15
