Quick tip for the vandal: you need to think of it as a sherif or a guardian. you need to use only the 2 first bullets, if you miss em strafe and shoot 2 more bullets.

This, I love guardian and sadly my ping is a pain to play with, so I ended up missing headshots cuz, well, ping, and I hate spraying with the guardian, but the time I played with it was good to help me with some movement mechanics and getting used to not full spray,best thing, now I use vandal like a more forgiving guardian because of the first 3 bullets accuracy

Im a vandal player with a low elo. My personal experience is that the bullet inaacuracy is very relatable it happens to me quite a while maybe 1 inaacuracy per game. But sometimes there's inacurate that can help you hit headshot. It mostly happens to me when im just flicking or jiggle peaking then shoot. It just funny how sometimes it can help you still.

Well, yes, some stray bullets does still score a kill. But that's the point, they're stray bullets. If you want to get good, you cant only rely on fate, god, rng, and your enemy being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you are spraying like crazy and being inaccurate and somehow it hits, you're just lucky.

SLOW DOWN YOUR GUN FIGHTS. 100% serious about this, majority of the time against phantoms they'll just crouch spray you, and if you take those extra milliseconds to stop, aim at their head, and put that first or second bullet thru their skull you will end up winning way more gunfights against phantom users

personally i find the vandal easier to spray with because the recoil pattern is a lot less random than the phantom, the phantom likes to jump side to side and up and down, where the vandal just goes up and to the right pretty consistently. If you spray a vandal at a wall odds are multiple spray's will look pretty similar, but with the phantom they are always different, i know people preffer spraying with phantom but that rng is insane on the gun. the only reason i use phantom is for the smoke spam, and small maps

phantom's recoil pattern is extremely controllable for the first 5-7 shots idk what you're talking about vandal feels so unstable and heavy i only ever use it when im incredibly confident in my aim which is definitely not always

@@ryebread09216 as someone with pretty good aim, i find the vandal more reliable. The phantom has a lot more early rng in its spray, its pretty jumpy spray to spray. Sometimes the phantom is tight, then the next burst will have massive gaps. While the first 4 shots of the vandal are basically always in the same spots. Obviously the vandals recoil is a lot stronger, but i heavily used the AK in csgo, so its not really that bad, and ive played games with stronger recoil. The game in general just has too much rng involved with the guns, and i find the vandal easier to use because it's not as random.

If someone actually brainlessly sprays with a vandal through a smoke and manages to get a kill , with the abysmal spray that gun has , AND at the same time doesnt get punished for his obvious location by bullet tracing , then so be it .It's one rng frag in a thousand. That said , i do tend to tap on head level crosshair on smokes .That combined with counter-strafing can really get you some nasty frags. Still , not reliable enough to be smthing to force.

My experience with ranked in valorant is this: I am a solo que player. I have always considered myself to be a decent player, yet i was always stuck at low rank. I always blamed my teammates. And then i started working on my own game, and once i began practicing my aim, my lineups and util usage I stopped caring if my teammates did bad, because every game was quite literally a chance to just get better at the game. And once i changed my mentality is when i started climbing. I am now sitting in diamond and the biggest difference I see is my team is mentally competitive every round. even when we are down 9-1 my team is still trying and locked in. Coming from CS-GO , playing M4 almost exclusively instead of the AK , i would guess that phantom would be my weapon of choice on Valorant. It wasnt , i went for Vandal . I just cant touch the phantom . I m all about tapping than spraying , although i do know than the phantom would probably make my life a lot easier.

I prefer using Phantom honestly. The first headshot is better, and I find when I do spray I end up getting the kill. Also no tracers on the gun really helps especially when I play viper (Which I play most of the time anyways.) Overall in my opinion a better gun.

6 shot burst is most close to a spray. But I would say 4 bullet spray is the most accurate. Dont fire more than 6 bullets at once.

Quick tip I haven't seen mentioned in the comments. You DON'T need to COUNTER-strafe. Just strafe. Unlike CS GO, in valorant you don't keep moving ever so slightly when you let go of your directional key, so when you lift up your A or D key, you're always going to be first shot accurate if standing still.

For counterstrafing I usually just press both keys at the same time. If you let go lets say the A key and then press D key to counterstrafe you run the risk of moving in the opposite direction almost immediately after and lose that first shot accuracy. Also I just don't have the brainpower or attention span in a gunfight to know/remember which opposite key I'm supposed to be pressing while shooting my enemy so I just hit both at the same time and not think about it.

I’ve tested the recoil on all guns and they are for the most part random. If you fire in bursts of around 5 bullets it’s easy to pull down to control it but after that it’ll go either left or right. It almost never follows the same 2x in a row. ITS NOT COUNTER STRIKE!!!

When you strafe should you strafe a little or should you take long strafes? strafing short avoids headshots but enemy can easily body shoot us, large strafes are difficult as it is close to RNG...guys plz give me a solution

I'd say depends on the situation, in a closeish range a nice spray of first 5 bullets is not that hard to control since your target is big. Mid range you're big enough to be hit easier so probably move a bit more. Mid to long range minimal movements can cause big aim errors.
