I really loved that second story . It is so true . I live in Australia and through my Thai wife I have heard of so many disasters . Men who promise the world and carnt deliver. I personally know of a few Thai girls left high and dry with Kids . We talk a lot about Thai girls but what about the assholes who use and abuse good women once back in their home country . This is a subject not often covered . Thankyou Peter.

I want to also say I am married to a thai firl for 11 years . she is 17 years younger but she is the best thing that ever happened to me . She is not a supermodel but she is kind and gentle . She is what a real relationship is made of and I will always respect her and live her with all my heart . Too many beautiful Thais , philipinos and Indonesians end up on the scrap heap because of lousy falang men

Good Thai women, bad Australian men the man in the first story is correct about Healthcare in the US. First you have to see a primary doctor and then get a referral to see a specialist this could take 2 or more months and then schedule surgery then be prepared to get sent home from the hospital as soon as the surgery is over because the insurance companies don't want to have to pay to keep you in the hospital. If I get sick I'm on the next plane to Bangkok Hospital. Thanks for a great set of stories as usual you're the world's best narrator Peter have a nice weekend can't wait for next week's stories

the expat can say he got a good Thai wife well good for him but Let’s be real here, if he wasn’t well off in the first place would she have even considered marrying him? My same question about how the Thai woman is making a big sacrifice to leave her parents behind to go live in a foreign country like its a big sacrifice yes it is for money for then & a citizenship for her. Call me cynical but these are the facts. The real test is when the expat is penniless one day would she still stay with him? Especially if she is decades younger which seems to be always the case. To me real love is when u don’t need to provide a cushy life to the woman in order for her to stay with u there is nothing wrong with her having to work as well to help pay for expenses or build up savings together

I go to the Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok and have used them for years. I found them to be excellent and second to none. I have a lot of medical records and procedures in the U.S. and the hospitals and doctors i have used in the states are second to non e. I feel the same about Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok.
@ThailandBound Жыл бұрын
Great hospital if you have an endless pot of cash, if not, better go a little more cheaper...Lots of very good hospitals in Bangkok.
@rondodson5736 Жыл бұрын
@@ThailandBound My insurance covers me 100% but only in the states. Yes it can be pricey but again compared to prices in the states it is a bargain for foreigners. I know most Thai people could not afford it, but Bumrungrad has actually saved my life on two occasions. The hospital in the town where i live outside of Bangkok is small but the service i have received there has been wonderful. When they feel i can receive better treatment elsewhere, they do not hesitate to recommend the other hospitals to me.

A million Baht could go in a month or two in hospital. I used to work in Australia in the accounting field for small private hospitals. We would often have patients whose funds had to pay 40,000 to 60,000 for their care. There was even one guy I had to call who had let his fund lapse and wasn’t covered. I called him up and told him he owed us $40,000. I could hear he was very elderly. I didn’t bother chasing it. But others would.
