I’m. Urgently researching speaker builds and although I can’t comment on the audio specifications (I’m still learning) I can comment on the workmanship and that is A1. Amazing craft and care to detail on the housing. I’m sure your next speaker will be even better, I hope mine turns out as good as yours.

Pro finish. My suggestion: If you were used sealed back mid drivers, the bass from the sub will be good. In this condition, the mid drivers acted as passive drivers and may damage it. Sorry for my English.

Nice job, if I was being critical, I would have gone for a matt finish on the front, the high gloss cheapens it slightly and the perspex window will be doing nothing to improve the sound. But apart from that well done.

Congratulations, great job, I want to make constructive criticism that can help to make your work even better than it already is. In a stereo baffle use a single tweeter for a single channel (L or R) or combine them is not good at all, the middle and high frequencies usually have a well-defined separation between the two channels, however not so at low frequencies, reason why some commercial and professional sound systems have a dedicated baffle for low frequencies; having a single twiteer produces the sensation of a monophonic sound and the loss of general quality; also the speakers of the two channels must be isolated between them and the wofeer. Greetings.
@Burnman836 жыл бұрын
Some more constructive criticism: Since your setup has not a lot of power, your subwoofer is basically obsolete. If you had more power, you would run into problems such as the subwoofer working in the same volume as the middle tone loudspeaker distorting them since the air-pressure will handicap/change their amplitudes and frequency range.

Nice speaker! But you really should change that battery, I build a speaker with one of those; 4800Mah claimed and 1900Mah in reallity, I bought another one from aliexpress for around the same price (11€): Liitokala 12v 4400Mah wich features 6 18650 cells and after testing it, even exceed the capacity: 4500Mah. Those are really great for value

I bought one of those battery packs rated at 10,000 mah and was very disappointed by it's performance. So I tore it apart and found three Lipo batteries with a total of 650 mah each. And an old cell phone battery just shoved in there to take up space and add weight...
@johnquimby73246 жыл бұрын
How much usage on average, are you getting on 4500mAh (the good one, not the cheap knock off)
@SpartozZ6 жыл бұрын
John Quimby a lot, I've been using it for a month in short periods of time with approximately 70% volume and its still not out of battery, I tried too, to use it at ~50% volume until it died but 2 days later it was still running so I stopped.

Even if you get a quality pack, it seems like you have to choose between total mAhs and recharge cycles. I say order vape batteries and solder in series yourself. Bout the simplest soldering job there is.

amazing Craftsmanship, the way you prepared the whole setup from building the 3d model and then making the build, But i have the same fear which below mentioned many have said but my question is right now Sub Woofer is simply in a open setup, while many like me thing if you have created a sort of cage(confined space in the setup only) for it , it will not push or vibrate other speakers in the assembly. Do you sell the Kit in India?

Yes I am trying to create this now. I do not understand the numbers of the components. I understand which is the resistors and such but i do not understand how to translate that to parts express part list, and thank you for replying back this is important. The only thing i am doing different is adding another tweeter running in series with the other one. I think that will work fine.
@JamesSmith-qd1dp6 жыл бұрын
On mine there will be a driver and a tweeter on both sides and the woofer in the middle floor of the box. I do believe I will have to increase the size of the box volume as well to accommodate the sound. There will be a divider separating both sides with the woofer in the middle. It will be braced up as well. All will be operated with a KAB-250. I will welcome any help on what size of box would be best.

@MickyRalte6 жыл бұрын
3 watt !!!!........ Its too less to add a sub
@Ev3rM0r36 жыл бұрын
Most of these small speaker setups are 15-30watts for small and the woofer is 30-60watts. a 3x2 amp which i have in a tiny bt box i made powers speakers no bigger then 1" or it draws too much power. I tried 4 1" speakers and it couldn't handle it over 70% volume without distortion. Also crossover's can be bought 3-4khz 2-way that can be used for highs/lows, and then a subwoofer doesn't get a crossover as you would be using an amp that is pushing a sub channel. Look for an amp that is 2.1, not 2 channel.
