3-Way Rigging - How to troll a LURE & SPOON on ONE LINE!

This is an overview on how to troll while you fish with 2 lures on one line. It is called a 3-way trolling system. It included one crank bait and one spoon.
I have created this page to share information with the hopes of helping you become a better fisherman and catch more fish. I do this with the heart of a teacher in mind while trying to make it simple and fun for anyone!

How important is the spacing? Can I run a snap from my main line to the 3way swivel so I dont have to redo it if I want to run just one lure?

Yes, I have done that many times. It will work fine.

Have you ever tested the dive curve to see how much it changed? I know the mini spoons are really light but it would have to change the lip angle of the crank some.

You troll it...not for casting. Troll it and hang on for big fish!

Doesn't the spoon drop into the rocks and hang up on everything?
