Isn't that the truth?! Yes! In college, or somewhere I heard it, I was once told how you dress is how you will be addressed. When I pull myself together lol people are very kind and respectful to me. I am a very respectable person anyhow but it is magnified when I look together, lol. I even have a different approach to people who are well polished. Not discrimatory in any way though but in my mind a person wants a certain response when they are well polished idk. Hope I make sense. We are instilling this in our children and they love it. I have three girls - 6-11 years. They are taught to not wear play ground clothes to school bc it is there place of work. I see the difference in them too, they are confident and very respected and respectable. They wear uniforms to a public school where no one else wears them and I notice that administration and teachers looks at them differently. They are even influencing the other children to dress in uniform. It is amazing and I love it!

😍 Oh my goodness, I absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing! Your girls are learning at such a young age, the life skills that will help them to be successful the rest of their lives! That’s fabulous! Yes, you are right, “dress the way you want to be addressed” is so true. I think it’s human nature because we are visual beings! So we gather information about who someone is based on who they appear to be! That totally makes sense!

I was wondering if you could do an etiquette video drinking, specifically for people who do not drink alcohol for personal and or religious reasons but find themselves invited to, say a friends party where most people are drinking wine. I've always wondered about this because many of the etiquette channels I've watched have videos that focus on drinking etiquette for people who do drink. Do you have any tips on how to not standout?
