Hello Sis, job well done. Thanks for the video. I contacted some schools for ABSN, I have a non nursing degree, one of the schools recommended portage learning online program for my prerequisites, it's crazily expensive. I discovered community colleges offer Associate to Bachelor's nursing dual enrolment where you can take classes at both community colleges and 4 year colleges simultaneously and have you RN and BSN in 2 to 2 1/2 years but international students are not eligible to apply. Going for an ADN after undergrad has a high likelihood of visa denial. I'm at a standstill honestly. I got admission for masters with no funding can I switch to a community college ADN when I get there?

It's a possibility. Which course did you get for your MSc and which school? Also, did you try schools that offer both prerequisites and ABSN?

Hi Lynda, thanks for the information. I have Bsc Public Health (Disease Control option) and i want to get into nursing (ABSN option). I have done Anatomy and Physiology, pharmacology, Chem n co. With this, do i still need to do prerequisites ?

@pearletornam6209 It depends on the school. You need to choose a school and apply. Then, they will tell you if you meet all the requirements or not. Since you have done some of those, you may not be asked to do more. So apply first and see.

Hi! Great question. As far as you have a good nursing education in Cameroon, you will understand how to practice in an another country with time and experience. You will also be trained before you are allowed to carryout certain procedures for the most part.
