How do you get such sustain with a clean amp? 🤔😮
@richieworrell5 жыл бұрын
Major Bálint I’m not Daniel, but to answer your question - try a compressor pedal! Really great for that snappy Tele into a clean amp sound, and improves note sustain immensely without adding any distortion. Dyna Comp, Keeley Compressor Plus, Wampler Ego, all great affordable choices.

nobody's saying he sucks but this video is totally pointless and this guy aint a good speaker whats the point of bragging about 1000 shows?
@JohnBrown-z2u5 жыл бұрын
@@McDoinky When we perfect the technology to literally slap somebody in the face with words, maybe then you'll understand sarcasm. The thousand gigs (and bars) thing was clearly tongue-in-cheek.

right, i didn't get the obvious joke. what's the point of it? It's not funny, and if anything, it only cements my point of reverb producing an annoyingly moot video. none of his tips have anything to do with playing live on a stage, just a bunch of basic guitarist bullshit. I think reverb are better than this

Here is a good piece of advice: play sober.
@ThrashRebel5 жыл бұрын
Josef K, well, “sober” as in not drunk. We used to smoke a lot of weed & even played on acid, but alcohol was a no no. We learned that the hard way. We made a rule as a band to not drink any alcohol during our sets.
@josefk56595 жыл бұрын
Mark El some of my favorite shows I was very high on cocaine. The energy is undeniable. I’ve gotten loaded drunk and played some wild sets too but there is an obvious compromise that gets made when one gets too drunk. If anyone needs supporting evidence, watch Jimmy Page at Live Aide.
@ThrashRebel5 жыл бұрын
Josef K, ugh! Don’t even mention cocaine. That sh... f...ed up my life & nearly killed me. I checked into rehab January 1990 &, luckily, haven’t touched it since (still smoked weed & did acid, but left the hard stiff behind).
