Would be an insta-buy if it wasnt another Software as a Service subscription model.

We have a free version that includes most of the features shown here! You also have boosts to get temporary free trials every month.

Any online service is hardly sustainable without a subscription model, or it has to find a clever way to make you pay for add-ons and updates often enough. Subscription is fine when you're an employee and have a monthly/weekly salary. But not for artists and independents whose revenues fluctuate highly. We usually don't like to add anything to our unavoidable monthly payments. So you basically have to be able to subscribe and unsubscribe as needed

Awesome content, Audio University. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work. The way you explained the benefits of Muse for remote collaboration was enlightening. How do you see advancements in audio technology further enhancing the collaborative process in music production?

i ve been used muse for sometime to produce some artists online, its a great tool, helps a lot! makes the process similar to work on a studio!! but how exactly can i use for record the client instrument on my track? how do i make on my DAW and to get the record printed here?? When I do this, I open the entire project on the client's PC and use it as I did there, thats not very pratical :/

Seems like an important idea and software, all of this besides audio fidelity is possible for free with a good audio interface but it is a pain, and teaching artists to have a compatible setup (in the case of tracking) is very awkward. Definitely would have been interested if I could own the software with a purchase instead of renting it! I dream that one day Ableton will invest in this idea, I think they would absolutely dominate both beginner and advanced producers AND artists if so, given the excellent stock plugins making things universal etc.

i didn't hear any mention of the monstrous amount of latency you're sure to encounter - have you run into this?

Latency is mentioned in the video.

very interesting. I've been using discord for a while now to collaborate with people to make songs. The biggest downside in my opinion is the clunky controls. The downside for most people (me included) is going to be the lag and the audio quality. Still not as advanced as muse but. I don't know if I would pay for the subscription though 😭😭

This is the sort of software that should be developen open source, funded by some big name musicians/producers with more money than they can spend
