For those who are trying to use their wired controller (doesnt have to be wired, but are using a wire to connect a controller to pc) with a pc, try unplugging the usb from the PC and replug it in the back, this has helped me multiple times (what it does is reset the connection the pc has with the controller, however you can also reset the connection the controller has with the pc by pressing the button on the back for a complete reset [Note: you will need an application such as Steam, DS4, or something similar for your controller to connect to a pc{without it it will simply charge the controller}])

Hers an easy fix, throw it on the floor as hard as you can, and go buy a new one. JK But really, many people completely overlook the reset button, and also don't bother to clean out the charge port (that thing can get pretty packed with dust and debris). I had to take apart my launch day PS4 controller two weeks after I bought my PS4, the R1 button was sticking. I was quite shocked to find out it was using the same battery as the DS3 uses. But that launch day PS4 lasted me until this year. The R2 now only will register 80%, you really have to press hard and twist for it to see 100%. And the thumbsticks are no longer returning to 100% center. It'll still charge and does work, but with its issues it's pretty much useless so I just bought a new one.

Does ANYONE know how to help me? I opened it up to fix my r2 and l2 but now my light doesnt light up on my controller AND it doesnt charge, PLEASE HELP!

I have some questikns please answer me/ replh tl my comment So i opened my controller to fix the left analog stick but when i re assembled the xontrolled the light bar and the charging port didnt work, the blue ribbon its connected, u tryed flying the ribbon and it doesn't work, please help me. Do I have to buy a new ribbon

Same here. I tried to put on a shell and fix the R2 button but after doing it and assembling it back, the controller won't charge or reconnect. Everything is right and at the right place but it won't work. I've assembled and disassembled it twice but no luck. HELP

yasir raza I had this same issue, you can actually install the cable backwards. I may be wrong but I believe the black line on the cable inside the controller should be facing toward the inside of the controller. I hope that makes sense.

Dude it just worked i was confused what happened to it but after restarting it from back button it workd properly i cant believe man ..Even i didnt know it had a scret button😂

Hi, really good video. I have tried your tips and other tips on KZbin And still my controller does crazy things. I'm in Canada. I just don't know what else I can do. Any other suggestions??
