We’ve burned wood for years. Now that we are in our late 60’s it’s getting harder to process the wood and bring it into our home. It’s a great heat source but it also has a tendency to really dry out the air in your home. Thanks Todd, keep warm!❄️💚🙃

I had no idea chip drop existed until I watched this. Signed up yesterday morning, and today I get home from work and there’s 7 giant logs waiting for me. Thanks Todd!

That’s great. I’ve been signed up (and resigned up) and never gotten anything.

Just found your channel. Very nice! New subscriber here from Oregon. I have recently found free firewood I have been cutting for personal use firewood for our woodstove for over 40 years. Free heating absolutely is the best option! I have never paid for firewood. We currently have a LOT of firewood around for free from the 200,000 acre Beachie Creek Fire September 2020, and a bad ice storm February 2021. I have numerous places and friends I can get free firewood right now. Free, but a lot of work to cut, gather, bring home, split, stack. Such a great cardio workout and stress reliever! Nice channel!

We are contemplating moving to Southern Michigan. We have good friends there. I hope we can do it soon as I really miss snow here down South. Also it will get us closer to my family in NY.

We put in a wood stove last March and love it. Thanks for the tips.

I really hope that chip drop gets some traction around my area. I seem to be the only person on there. Been on it for about 2 years. Even contacting companies when i see them up the street from me fails to yield any desired results.

Did you ever finish your chicken coop?

I have never had luck with chip drop. 4yrs ago I decided to fill in a low seasonally swampy area and just put an ad looking for chips in FB marketplace. I got about 400-500yards of chips delivered the first summer. Some times it was 3 chip body trucks a day.

Call a tree service, they have to pay to dispose of their wood in my state NY of course. They would be very happy to bring pre-cut 16" rounds if you ask nicely. Have been doing it for years and I live in a Snowflake neighborhood. Start with 5 yards of rounds. so you can see what you are getting into.. Good luck

Call around every week to tree cutters and landscapers. You will find wood chips and logs most of the time. But don't get discouraged, as they are busy most of the year.
