How about hitting it high from really firm/very little sand, or is it not as possible?

Hi Zach. I typically would still have the face open but add a touch more shaft lean and play for the ball to launch slightly right, but this should help contact and still have height.

Ty, what about just moving the ball up a bit more and using a standard club face (not opening it more than normal)? I’ve found that in soft sand, even with a ton of speed it’s tough to get them to go far enough with an open face.

Yes for sure an option. It depends on the player. It ultimately depends on what the face is at impact. Some people start with the face open and deliver it closed and some start club face square and deliver the club at impact more open. Great note. Thanks!
