i have a doubt regarding the steps you did to prevent masking.....so instead of cutting off the frequencies (which were clashing )to such extent that the red line is slightly less visible..... can we use dynamic EQ for that purpose to cut off the clashing frequencies ? In that way, you are preventing the masking to more extent ( than shown in this video) when the bass guitar hits and at the same time the synth won't lose its body throughout the entire track?

Interesting. What's the main difference between dynamic eq and multiband compression,to be honest i have heard this Two but don't know how and where to use this.

They Are Both mostly Same Things but still both are Separate Things. • Lets Say On Multiband Compression You have Few Different Bands According Frequencies Low Mid High or can be more thn that. And Multiband Compression allow you apply Compression On All those Frequencies Differently however you like Example :- you need Heavy compression on Low frequencies but Soft on Mid And High like that With Multiband Compression you can do with that. • And For Dynamic EQ it Allows to Control Certain Frequencies From 20Hz to 20KHz. Lets Say for Example :- There Is Frequency at 700Hz which Going Loud like Resonance Whenever that Frequency Played So You only Wanna reduce That But……But That Frequency is Important too coz it has Body of Instrument. That why you also Don’t wanna Reduce It EQ Notch permanently coz It changing the Sound of your Instrument if reduce too much Thats why We Apply Dynamic EQ for That Frequency. Dynamic EQ allow you to set Some Threshold on how Frequency you wanna reduce when Go higher thn that threshold which Set by you. FabFilter - MB is Plugin which Is Both Dynamic EQ and Multi band Compression you can Look up about it In YT Videos
